Gai Lan

What it is

Gai lan, also called Chinese broccoli, is a leafy broccoli-family vegetable with long stems, broad leaves, and small broccoli-like clusters. The stems, leaves, and clusters are used in blanched, steamed, and stir-fried dishes.
